Show JFalcoin Eoram By BRADY NIXON Welcome to yet another episode of the Falcon Forum. Today's column col-umn will be your typical promote-the-week's activities with as much spirit as possible. Tuesday, the boys' basketball team played Roy High. Since this game hasn't been played as of this writing I will have to go by Parry's Power Guide. Let's see, Roy is ranked 24th, Clearfield is ranked third. Things are looking good. Friday Fri-day we will meet our rivals, the Layton Lancers. This promises to be an exciting game. (At least more exciting than Roy's). The team's co-captains this year are Bill Spangenthal and Bracken Larsen. The game is at Layton and it starts at 7:30. The girls' basketball team will also be playing Layton this Friday. The game starts at 5:30 and will be played at Clearfield. This year's captains are Kim Hill, Promise Mcintosh and Amber Poll. Saturday, Jan. 16, the Falc-ettes will be performing at Weber High. After many long hours of practice, after removing the ugly, "black imperfections" im-perfections" that may have "darkened "dar-kened their paths," after "rubbing out" misfortunes that happened, the Falc-ettes are now "polished" and ready to go. Tammy Child is the drill captain with Nikki Wight as the co-captain. Jodi Bambrough, who still owes me cookies, is the drill mistress and Cathy Gar- ,tt is her assistant. I have neve oefore seen such devotion, devo-tion, and what do they get for it? They get no support from the stu-dentbody. stu-dentbody. If I am able to get work off, so can you! Don't forget to see my predictions predic-tions for the year 1988 in the Davis County Clipper. They were printed in the Jan. 6 issue. Just watch how many actually, come true. If you think Nostradamus is good, just wait. |
