Show Myton Mrs. Grace Dalgleish An event which has been celebrated cel-ebrated each year during the past 25 years brought guests to the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Paxman on New Year's day to honor their 47th wedding anniversary anni-versary and the birthday anniversary anni-versary of Mr. L. E. Potter. Present Pres-ent were Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Potter, Pot-ter, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Hadden, Mrs. Ray Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Jensen, of Neola; and Mrs. Marion Felter, of Roosevelt. Mrs. Floyd Lamb was hostess to members and guests of the Friday Bridge club Wednesday afternoon. Present were Mrs. Wm. Koehler, Miss Alice Todd, Mrs. Homer Robinson, Mrs. James Dalgleish, Mrs. W. H. Linck, Mrs. H. W. Davenport and Mrs. W. R. Harris. High score was won by Mrs. Robinson. Mrs. L. E. Potter entertained theLadies Aid society at her home Thursday afternoon. Sewing Sew-ing and the regular order of business busi-ness were followed by a delicious lunch. Mrs. Ii. C. Cooper enieriainea a few friends Saturday evening at a dancing party in the Bertola Building honoring tle birthday anniversary of her husband. The guests included Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Bywater, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Adams, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Monks, Mr. and Mrs A. C. Tol-boe, Tol-boe, Mrs. Lowell Bingham, Lynn Dean and Jay Petty. Mrs. Lou Mllncr returned to Meeker, Colo., Friday night after af-ter spending a few days here on business. She reports that Mr. Milncr is getting along nicely at their daughter's home in Colorado. Colo-rado. ' Mrs. W. E. Burton returned home Wednesday after a 2-wcek visit at the home of her daughter in Midvale. Mr. and Mrs. Emery Nielson, returned home Saturday. They have been visiting for the past month with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Arvel Nielson, of San Francisco. Darrell Dean was sufficiently improved to be able to be returned re-turned home last week. Mr. Dean has been confined to the Roosevelt Roos-evelt hospital since December 24. Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Adams, of Roosevelt, visited Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish, Sunday. Mrs. Guy Giles and baby left Monday for Salt Lake where she will receive medical attention. Mrs. Giles recently was a patient at the Roosevelt hospital, but her slow improvement made it necessary to take her to a specialist spec-ialist for care. She was accompanied accom-panied by her sister who has been with her during her illness. A. M. Todd was returned home Sunday after spending a few davs in the Roosevelt hospital. Mr. and Mrs. George Dodge and family moved from their ranch home Sunday and are now living in the former B. L. Dart residence. The wedding dance of Mr. and Mrs. John Uresk drew a larg-e crowd of friends to Lapoint Friday Fri-day evening to enjoy their hospitality. |
