Show Ballard Ellen Bracken Frank Humphrey, 80, of Independence In-dependence died Friday. Services Ser-vices were conducted Monday in the Gusher L D S chapel. Fireside was held at the Rus-sel Rus-sel Todd home Sunday evening, under the direction of Max Todd. Mr. and Mrs. Junior Betts are home after spending the past several weeks in Tridell. Word has been received that Leonard Bctts has undergone an appendectomy. He and Ralph both came home to spend the holidays. hol-idays. They arc working near Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. Max Knorr and small son spent part of the holidays holi-days with Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Timothy at Maese.r. Mr. and Mrs. George Bracken and son, Lynn, were dinner guests Sunday, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Duanc Bracken in Roosevelt. The occasion celebrated cele-brated Duanc's birthday. Other guests were Mrs Charles Perci-val Perci-val and her daughter, Florence, of Ioka. Dale Patterson was baptized a member of the L D S church last week. He was a speaker in meeting meet-ing Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. George Funk, of Myton, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Jenkins Jen-kins and Mrs. Pearl Jenkins were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ce- i cil Jenkins on the 6th. The occasion oc-casion celebrated Cecil's birthday birth-day anivcrsary. The special interest group of the MIA met Sunday evening' at the home of Bishop Golden Collins. Col-lins. Charlenc Bellon left for Salt Lake last week after spending the holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Xavicr Bellon. Golden Collins was sustained as Bishop of the Ward on Jan. 2 On January 9 Wendel Johnson was sustained at 1st counselor and Bernard B. Larsen as 2nd counselor. Pres. Dillman attended attend-ed the meeting to complete the reorganization of the ward. Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Rust, of Mt. Home, visited Tuesday afternoon af-ternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Ralph McMullin. Mrs. Max Gardner and her daughter, Maxine, of Neola, visited vis-ited Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Kettle on Wednesday. Mrs. A. W. Seeley is well enough to be released from the hospital, but is still confined to her home. Eric Stolla was confined at home Sunday because of illness. |
