Show National Forest Timber For SaSe Sealed bids will be received by the Forest Supervisor, Vernal, Utah, up to and including in-cluding July C, 194C, for all merchantable dead timber standing and clown, and all live timber marked or designated desig-nated for cutting on an area of approximately 195 acres within Section 31. Tp. 2 N., R 4 W, and Section 36, lp. 2 N.. R- 5 W., U.S.M.. Sub unit B, Salt Creek Unit, Ashley National Forest. Utah, estimated esti-mated to be 800,000 feet L. M., more or less, of Ponderosa Pine sawtimbcr. No bid cf less than $2.40 per M ft. B.M. will be considered. Bids with rates in excess of those pcr-missable pcr-missable under MPR-4G0 will be reduced to the allowable maximum in making the award. In addition to making payments for stumpage the purchaser will be required to make an additional deposit of 15 cents per M ft. B.M. to be deposited into a cooperative work fund to pay the cost of timber stand improvement work, and 10 cents per M ft. B.M. to be deposited into a cooperative fund to pay the cost of slash disposal work. At the time of submitting bids, $100.00 payable to the Treasurer Treas-urer of the United -States, must be deposited with the Regional Fiscal Agent, U. S. Forest Service, Ogden, Utah, to be applied on the purchase price, refunded, or retained in part as liquidated damages, according to conditions of sale. The right to reject any and all bids is reserved.
