Show New Officers Named By Legion Bain Post No. 64 of the. American Amer-ican Leeion held its annual election elec-tion at the American Legion barracks bar-racks on Wednesday evening, Jine 5, and named the following officers to serve during the coming com-ing year: Otis L. Burton, commander; com-mander; Robert Andrews, 1st vice commander; Steve Bellon, 2nd vice commander; Pat Han-rock, Han-rock, adjutant; M. F. Wilkins, finance officer: Merle F. Benson, chaplain and Ronald Page, ser-geant-at-arms. Committees to handle the various var-ious functions of the post will be named by Commander-elect Burton after installation. Rcnrcsentatives of Basin Post and the Auxiliary who attended the legion district meet at Moab on June 9, and witnessed the election of one of their members o the office of district commander comman-der were: Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Angus. An-gus. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Curtis and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Page. Some 200 delegates from Duchesne, Du-chesne, Uintah. San Juan. Grand, Emery and Carbon counties nam-fd nam-fd Martin Curtis to the Dost of district commander, while the Auxiliary, at the same meeting, olected Mrs. Clvsta Angus of Roosevelt its historian. |
