Show Altonah Names New Bishopric The Altonah Ward was re-organized Sunday evening, September Septem-ber 15, under the direction of Stake President William Brother-son. Brother-son. Lester Maxfield was sustained as bishop; George Berrett, first counselor; Ralph Allred, second counselor, and Arthur Timothy, ward clerk. The Relief Society officers, newly appointed, are: Mable Maxfield, president; Bell Allred, first counselor; Etta Berrett, second sec-ond counselor, and Margaret Maxfield, secretary-treasurer. Under the Primary organization, organiza-tion, Edith Timothy will assume the presidency. Other officers include in-clude Lucy Jacoben, first counselor; coun-selor; Twila Ralphs, second counselor, coun-selor, and Blanche Carroll, secretary-treasurer. Mutual officers are Claude Murray, president of the Y.M.M. I.A.; Glade Timothy, first counselor; coun-selor; Charley Allred, second 'counselor, and Niel Maxfield, secretary-treasurer. I For the Young Ladies' group: Lola Jones will act as president, Iwith Thelma Dunsmore, first counselor; Madeline Perkins, second sec-ond counselor and secretary- I treasurer. New Sunday School officers I include William Ralphs. suDerin- jtendent, and Phyllis Allred, secretary sec-retary - treasurer. As yet the I counselors have not been chosen. |
