Show School Doings ROOSEVELT HIGH LaRene Elmere was chosen qien of the Harvest Ball held last Friday at the Elementary school gym. , The first play this season "The Villian Still Pursued Her," was presented Wednesday evening to an enthusiastic audience. A matinee mat-inee was played during the afternoon af-ternoon for the benefit of students. stu-dents. A football dance will be held November 26 in the Elementary school gym. Proceeds from the dance will go to benefit injured players. ALTERRA HIGH Tuesday, Nov. 11, Basin Post 64 of the American Legion presented pre-sented a short program in commemoration com-memoration of Armistice day and the heroes of World War II Robert Andrews gave a short talk. The studentbody held a minute of silent tribute to the soldiers of World Wars I and II. Friday, Lloyd LaVaux, the "Accordian Poet" presented s gay musical program, playing a variety of beautiful songs. The studentbody has votcc Barbara RussoA and Twila Simmons Sim-mons to be cheerleaders, replac ing Owna Bisel and Wilma Gil strap who were forced to resign .because of ill health, Janet Gilstrap is the third cheerleader. The Seminary dance held Nov. 14 was a wonderful success. large crowd enjoyed the music of Hatch's orchestra. |
