Show Funerals MYTON (Special) John Davis, 80, died Saturday evening, eve-ning, November 15 as he was being rushed to a Salt Lake hospital. hos-pital. Mr. Davis had been ailing tor a number of years and had been seriously ill for the past 3 weeks. Born in Poland, March 15, 1867, Mr. Davis came to the United Unit-ed States when he was 21 years of age. He landed in New York, and worked there for a time before be-fore going on to Pennsylvania and Chicago, where he was employed em-ployed in the coal fields, and to Oklahoma, where he did river work. He met Judia Ann Burris while working in Colorado and they were married Sept. 4, 1911 I at Cheyenne, Wyo. They lived at Monarch, Colo, until March f 25, 1915, when tney movea xo ! Bur-I Bur-I ton and Homer Robinson acted i as pallbearers. Mr. Davis Is survived by his widow and 3 step-children, Don Burris, Mrs. Donna Steudel and Mrs. Betsy Hardman, of Myton. ' " INA RAE LONG 'Bishop Otis Horrocks conducted con-ducted graveside services Friday, Nov. 7, at the Roosevelt cemetery ceme-tery for Ina Rae Long, 10, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Win-fred Win-fred Long, of Bennett, who died Nov. 4 in a Salt Lake hospital of diptheria. Prayer was offered by President Presi-dent Russel Todd. John G. Bolton Bol-ton dedicated the grave. Ina Rae is survived by her parents, the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Venice Palmer, Glendale, Calif.; - Norman, Va-Lois, Va-Lois, Kenneth, Lowell, Bobby, Larraine and Beverly Long, Bennett; Ben-nett; and by her grandparents. Mrs. Alice Gardner, Ballard and Mr. and Mrs. J. P. RudyOrem. KYLE WILLIAM BROWN Graveside services were corr-ducted corr-ducted Wednesday at 2 p. m. at the Ft. Duchesne cemetery for Kyle William Brown, 8, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Brown, of Randlett, with Bishop Wilson, of the Avalon ward in charge. Kyle died Saturday, Nov. 8, of diptheria, approximately 10 minutes min-utes after his admittance to a Salt Lake City hospital. He had been under treatment at the Vernal Ver-nal hospital before being taken to Salt Lake. ' , . |
