Show Lapoint Mri. Mable Jenkins Mrs. C. A. Thompson went to Salt Lake City last week to visit her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Thomp son. Mr. and Mrs. Golden Winn and son ,Boyd, were .called to Salt Lake City by the serious illness of Mrs. Winn's father Wra. Sprouse. They returned home Wednesday. Mr. Sprouse is much improved at this writing. Mildred Mowrey went to Salt Lake City Tuesday to be with her sister, Orpha Palmer, who underwent an operation. The Rasmusscn Brothers and Leland Perry have gone to Salt Lake to build a house for their brother, Reed Rasmussen. The Blue Bird girls of the La-point La-point Primary, and their teacher, Lilly Bigelow, entertained the mothers Wednesday at Primary. The girls won the cake for October Oc-tober for giving the most pennies to the Primary hospital fund. A shower was given in the Ward hall in honor of Mr. and, Mrs. Dean Huber, Thursday afternoon, af-ternoon, followed by a wedding dance in the evening, Mr. and Mrs. Rob Alexander, of Montwell visited their daughter daugh-ter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Rich, and attended the shower and wedding dance for their grandchildren, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Huber, Thursday evening. Mrs. Mary Taylor, of Ogden, returned home Nov. 11, after spending three weeks with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Neumeyer. Mrs. Margaret Harrison has returned from Denver, after visiting with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Harrison, and family. David Jenkins has bought a black Morgan stallion from Fran ces Harrison, of Neola, Ted McKowen, of Lapoint, and Willard Eldredge, of Bennett, furnished the entertainment at the opening of Clive Sprouse's new garage in Duchesne. |
