Show 1yion City News Section Friday Bridge The Bridge club met at the home of Mrs. James Dalgleish Friday. The following were present: pres-ent: Mrs. Wm. Harris, Mrs. Wm, Preecc, Mrs. Wm. Koehler, Mrs. Homer Robinson, Mrs. Bliss Lott, Mrs. Wm. Linck, Mrs. Lee Cooper. Coop-er. Refreshments were served by the hostess, Mrs. Dalgleish. Sacrament Meeting The Seminary teacher, H. Bartley Heiner and Mrs. Naomi Lund furnished cars to bring a group of Seminary students over ov-er to take part in Sacrament meeting. We as the Myton people wish to compliment all that took part. Lt. and Mrs. Robert Zirker and baby came to visit Mr. Zir-ker's Zir-ker's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John E. Zirker, Jr., Saturday. They came from Abolene, Texas. Rex Giles returned .home Thursday, unable to pass the examination for the armed forces. forc-es. Frank Horrocks of Arcadia was here Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Acel Bingham and Mrs. LaVar Dennis went to Salt Lake City Thursday. Mrs. Dennis came home Friday. Mrs. Bingham was operated on Sat- urday for goiter, in the L DS hospital and is doing fine. Emery Nielson went to Provo Wednesdav for treatments. Mrs. Effie Betts and son, Lee moved to Roosevelt Saturday. Mrs. Frank Monks and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Lydell came home from Provo Saturday, where they have been taking treatments. Mr. Monks will remain re-main there for some time. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hart and Mrs. Elenor LaBronte of Duchesne Du-chesne visited Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish Sunday. Mrs. Earl Hardinger and son were visiting Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Adams Sunday. Leon Parrish spent the week end visiting his sister and broth-in broth-in law, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Merkley of Jenson. Mrs. Dave Tanner went to Salt Lake City to consult a doctor. doc-tor. Miss Erma Babcock went to Salt Lake City Monday. She has been visiting her folks for a few davs. Mrs. Mary Savage and Mrs. Kate McKowen went to Vernal Saturday on business. Clifford Adams went to Salt Lake City Sunday to visit his brother and sister in law, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Adams. Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Kronquist of Ft. Duchesne were guests of Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish Sunday evening. J. R. Bywater came home Saturday Sat-urday from Brigham City. He attended at-tended the funeral of his broth-1 er, James Bywater. Mr. and Mrs. Jess Pectol returned re-turned home Monday. They have been visiting two daughters, one in California and one in Portland. Port-land. They returned home by way of Idaho. They also spent a week in American Fork with relatives. rel-atives. Mrs. Elsworth Cox and two children returned home Monday. She has been with her daughter, Elma in Salt Lake City whose baby was seriously ill. |
