She will be at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Howell. . , , , . Word has been received by his wife, Mrs. Sylvia Oberhansley, that Pvt. Clarence Oberhansley has arrived in England. Mary Diane Odekirk was a week end visitor at the home of her cousin, Nancy Ann Beal at Bridgeland. James Nevins was transacting business in Vernal Saturday. Ernest Sallee left for his home in Salt Lake City Saturday. He was accompanied by Lawrence Odekirk who expects to be gone for a week or more. Watermasters Wm. R. Preece of My ton nd Floyd S. Wheeler of Whiterocks were confering with Irrigation manager E. W. Kronauist Saturday. Richard, son of Mr. and Mrs. Orrin Curry, who has been a students at the Riverside school in California has just returned to enlist in the Navy Air Corp. Lon Logan attended the Civil Air Patrol meeting at Roosevelt Saturday. The Music Busters of Ft. Duchesne Du-chesne played at the dance given by the American Legion at Roosevelt Saturday. Those attending at-tending from here were Mr. and Mrs. Lon Logan, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Iorg and Mrs. Lois LaRose. Ross Iorg was in Whiterocks on official business Friday. Among those attending the basketball game between Roosevelt Roose-velt and Alterra Friday night, were Paul Krouse, Lorna Ross and Anita Harvey. On his birthday, John Day was very pleasantly surprised by a few of his friends. The evening even-ing was spent in playing games, after which refreshments were served. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Chivers were Dry Fork visitors Sunday. Mrs. Sylvia Oberhansley and daughter, Joan, have just returned return-ed from Salt Lake. |
