Show Altonah Mrs. Ethel Beeb The Altonah D.U.pT held its regular meeting Wednesday afternoon af-ternoon in the form of a social in honor of Mrs: Alta Murray, who is moving to Murray, Utah. Mrs. Murray was, one of the first Altonah D U P members. A short history of Mrs. Murray's life was given by Mrs. Minnie Max-field, Max-field, followed by a. solo "Mother "Moth-er McCree," sung by Mrs. Francis Fran-cis Allred. The lesson wasgiven by Mrs. Francis Allred. A pot lunch was enjoyed by 15 members. mem-bers. Mrs. Naomi Woodard and Mrs. Ethel Beebe were club guests. . Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Farns-worth Farns-worth returned Sunday from Salt Lake City, where they have spent the past 4 months.. Grant Mohlman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Mohlman, was hit in the eye with a ball bat Thursday. Thurs-day. He was taken to Roosevelt, where 3 stitches were required to close the wound. Primary preparation meeting was held at the residence of President Florence. Mohlman, Wednesday evening. Boyd Mohlman, of ' Seattle, Washington, visited with his brothers, Glen and Ferrell, last Tuesday and Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Ferrill Mohlman visited their father, E. M. Mohlman, Mohl-man, in Roosevelt, Sunday. Mr. Mohlman is recovering from a hip fracture at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Vera Hansen. Mrs. Rose Ames, of Mt. Emmons, Em-mons, was guest, speaker at Relief Re-lief Society meeting Tuesday. Boyd Young, of Oregon, arrived ar-rived Wednesday to visit relatives rela-tives here. Mr. and Mrs. Clinty Ames announce the arrival of a baby daughter, born April 22 at the Roosevelt hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Lucas, of Lapoint, are taking care of the Moon Lake electric plant on Yellow Stone river while Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Simmons are on vacation, Mr. and Mrs. James B. Murray Mur-ray left Sunday morning to make their home in Murray, Utah. ' |
