County Agricultural Agent 4-H Club members who are feeding fat stock are reminded that the Twelfth Annual Intcr-mountain Intcr-mountain Junior Fat Stock Show .at Salt Lake City, will be held June 2, 3, and 4th. Those who are planning to exhibit animals ani-mals at this show need to pay particular attention to a few rules. 1. Entry blanks must definitely definite-ly be filled out and sent to the show officials no later than May 17th. This entry blank must be signed by me, as County Agent, and by the 4-H Club member, as exhibitor. I have a supply of them in the office and will attempt at-tempt to get them to as many of you as possible. If I have overlooked over-looked you do not hesitate to come to the office or -write me well in advance of this date. 2. Livestock will be received at the show grounds at the North Salt Lake Stockyards Sunday. May 30, Monday, May 31, and up until 6 p. m. June 1st. 3. Fat steers which grade commercial com-mercial will be sifted and no premium will be paid on them by (the 1948 show. 4. All cattle, including groups and pens, must be, halter broke to the point that they may be led before the sifting committee. 5. This is a Junior Show exclusively, ex-clusively, and the exhibitor must I I tend his own animals. i 6. All feeding and grooming of I livestock at the show is to be done by the exhibitor. The show management, realizing that this is an educational and youth show, is insistant that this rule be observed by all concerned. Any infraction of this rule, detected de-tected by the officials of this show, will result in the animal being sifted and premium money being withheld. Your club leader and County. Agent will do their best to give you the help and, assistance which you need in preparing for this show and getting there with your animals. It is hoped that all exhibitors will feel free to call on me for assistance when they need it. |
