Show Tridell Mrs. C. E. Merkely Sunday evening five Bee Hive girls and their leader, Mignon E. Moosman, met in the home, of Mrs. Kay Covcrdale. Mrs. H. LeRoy Morrill and son Callis, who have been visiting at Payson and Logarrrreturned Saturday Sat-urday with Mr. and Mrs. Glen Wahiquist and daughters and Horace Morrill. The Wahiquist j family and Horace Morrill will spend some lime here before returning re-turning to Logan. Mrs. Dal Christensen and daughters, Mrs. Carlton Hancock and family and Bonnie Smith, of California, arrived Tuesday for a visit with Mrs. Chrislensen's and Miss Smith's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Merkley and family, of Anaheim, Calif., arrived Wednesday to visit with Gene's mother, Nellie L. Merkley. Merk-ley. A large group enjoyed a picnic lunch Sunday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Don Sinv mons. Those from out of town were: Mr. and Mrs. Charles N. Merkley, of Logan; Mr. and Mrs. Gene Merkley, Mr. and Mrs. Dal Christensen and Mrs. Hancock, of Calif.; Mrs-, Bill Parrish, of Roosevelt; Mrs. Elbert Smith, Mrs. Nellie L. Merkley and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Merkley. Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Ross, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Harvey, Mr. and Mrs. Devear Ross, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Ross of Vernal, and Dewey Dew-ey McConkcy returned home Thursday after-spending a week in the mountains. They report having hed a wonderful lime and good fishing. Mrs. Dewey McConkie has returned re-turned from Salt Lake, where she visited with her daughter, Mrs. David Gunison. Mrs. Ted Boyes, of. Salt Lake returned home last week after visiting with her mother, Mrs. Sarah Harvey, Tcss Goodrich, Ha Rhae McConkie, Mc-Conkie, Nona Twitchell. Inez Trujillo, Doris Harvey, Lela Barllett, LaWana Glinos and Lar-raine Lar-raine Bartlett have gone on a three days slake outing at Iron Springs, ,Utah. Verl Behrman and Tommy and Dale Mcwrcy are attending the Centennial Boy Scout encampment encamp-ment at Salt Lake. James Harvey announces the marriage of Ins daughter, Elma, to Mr. Wallace, of Kentucky. The young couple will spend a few weeks here before returning to Kentucky, where they will make their home, i |
