| Show RU clifield couple to observe golden wedding monday november 28 marks the afif fiftieth anniversary sary of the wedding day of judge and mrs J H erickson of richfield in honor 0 of f the occasion open house will be held at then their home 57 west third north and friends are invited v to call between the hours from 3 to 8 9 p in the couple were married in the manti temple of the L D S church on november 28 1888 by daniel H wells and have spent most of their married life in sevier county mr air erickson was graduated from the law school of the university v of michigan in 1898 and since has been actively engaged in the practice of law he was county attorney of sevier county for two terms district attorney for the sixth judicial district for ten years and district ludge judge of the same district for eight years he served as an L D S missionary in the north central states prior to his marriage and with his wife has been an active member of the church mrs airs erickson is a daughter of the late mr and mrs C F johnson of elsinore Elsin and was born at ephraim mr air Ei erickson ickson was born in christiana noe norway No rvay and with his mother an L D S convert and three other children of the family came to utah in 1866 a year after the death of his father judge and mrs airs erickson are the parents of nine children eight of whom are arc living mrs C H mcentyre of berkeley california mrs fred mckissick and mrs robert L weber of OakIA oakland nd california franklyn H erickson and W A erickson of southern california mrs airs J R chipman of oase se btttle washington mrs milton gentry of beaver and J vernon erickson of richfield they have 18 grandchildren and two great grandchildren |
