washington february 27 the body will be sent to monroe for burial mrs nelson was mm in monroe a daughter of H S and lena washburn and lived here during her early life she married walter robinson of monroe and was the mother of four children by that union later she married mr nelson and has resided in washington since she is survived by her husband her mother mrs airs lena washburn of salt lake four children two brothers dan and lovell washburn of monroe four sisters mrs ida tanner of duehesne duchesne mrs J lewis and mrs airs dan baker of salt lake and mrs P E of monroe funeral arrangements will be completed when word of the exact day of the arrival of the body is received it will be the latter part of the week daughters of pioneers to sponsor entertainment the daughters of utah pioneers honroe 11 onroe mountain camp held their february meeting in the relic hall saturday afternoon A musical program was conducted by mrs airs clara bertelsen committee chairman from camp no 6 mrs airs olive white gave a reading mrs airs dorothy jones sang with miss larue goold at the organ barbara and max larsen played a violin selection thomas ransom directed two vocal numbers miss larue winn gave two readings and scott brown sang two selections with guitar accompaniment by smith washburn among other items of business it was decided to give a dance and program to procure funds to meet expenses dancing by some richfield girls lavonda hansen janice utley geraldine fairbanks fairbank marie bertelsen barbara hansen and carolyn poulson four young ladies carol hunt susie bohman zona madsen and bertha lee were good in the military dance and the minuet was a pleasing number danced by club ladies preceded by a reading the minuet by miss jennie reynolds nearly ladles ladies and their partners were in attendance primary board boar d t to P resent present play the south se sevier vier stake primary board are sponsoring a three act play the texas ranger to be presented in the M L A pavilion friday march 3 at 8 p m there will also be a matinee at 4 p m the joseph ward is furnishing the play which is being directed by esbon jackman the cast includes grace lott june ross mrs airs E jackman utahna morrey andrew parker carl parker randall stewart delbert wells vernal lott dan hyatt and delloyd lott the wards assisting in the sale of tickets will share in the funds received seminary
