Dr. E. G. Mills MT. PLEASANT, UTAH For The Dairy interests Eighteen months ago you people received for your butterfat within two cents of the highest price of butter. Two days after I stopped operating my creamery you received for your cream 6 cents less than the price of butter, and sometimes there was a spread of 8 cents. Well, my dairy interested people, that is too big a spread between butter and fat, and I intend to raise the price, but I must have your support in doing so, because if I raise the price, my competitors can, in accordance with the laws of Utah, meet my prices, and if you then forget to sell your cream to me, I again will have to go out of business. So I ask you for your support. I am ready to operate my creamery tomorrow, so start bringing your cream. There is produced in Fairview approximately 500 pounds of butterfat per day. If Fairview dairymen have lost 5 cents par pound, it would amount to $25.00 per ' day, or $9,175.00 per year.
