Show I MORONI By Special Correspondence The Sorosis club was entertained at the home of Mrs. Ray Anderson Ander-son Thursday afternoon of last week with she and Mrs. N. P. Sor-ensen Sor-ensen as hostesses. The lesson cn parliamentary laws was given by Mrs. Morgan Lamb. Mrs. Lew's Blackham gave a short drill on better English. Refreshments were served to the following Mesdames: Joseph Prest wich, Mert Draper, Blaine Draper, Lewis Blackham, James M. Larsen, Lar-sen, Marvin Anderson, C. W. Jensen, Jen-sen, Cleon Anderson, Gene Des-pain, Des-pain, Ellis Draper, Morgan Lamb and Hannah C. Blackham. Up to date the following people from Moroni have been successful in getting a deer: Mert Draper, Russel Bailey, Lyman Christensen, Nile Christensen, Ben Monson, Lynn Monson Arthur Blackham, Amasa Morley Jr., Arnoldo Syme, Mrs. Arnoldo Syme, Pete Syme, Mrs. Pete Syme, Bernard Olsen, Gene Despain, Frank Eliason, Elbert El-bert Morley, Wesley Christensen, Sherman Christensen, Mrs. Monroe Mon-roe Wilkensen, Hans Jensen, Abe Little, Harold Despain, Rodney Anderson, Glenn Hardy and Lorin Christensen. Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Goats of McGill, Nevada visited last week at the home of her mother, Mrs. Olive D. Anderson. Senator Reed Smoot, W. W. Seegmiller, Don B. Colton, Fredrick Fred-rick C. Loofborrow, A. E. Christensen, Chris-tensen, George P. Parker, George S. Barker, Frank M. Oppenshaw, Dr. C. N. Jensen and Ivor Ajax stopped in Moroni Monday afternoon after-noon on their tour through Sanpete San-pete county and held a Republican Republi-can rally. Reed Smoot was the speaker in the afternoon and at night George S. Barker and Frank M. Oppenshaw were the speakers. Mrs. L. U. Christensen entertained enter-tained the M. H. club at her home Thursday afternoon. |
