Mrs. Lewis Black gave a dinner Friday in honor of Mrs. Mait-land Mait-land Drage of Orem, the occasion being her birthday. Mrs. Sarah Clawsen returned home Saturday . from Salt Lake City where she has been visiting. She was accompanied home by her grandsons, Walter and Ray Johnson. Maiser Bunnell, who 'teaches in one of the Jordan District schools in Salt Lake City, spent the week end visiting at the home of Iris mother, Mrs. Helena Bunnell. Darlene Stevens returned to her home in Midvale Sunday. She was accompanied home by her aunt, Mrs. Vyroa Hansen. Mr. and Mrs. Delos Blain of Salt Lake Citjy visited Sunday with her mother, Mrs. Margaret Christiansen, who is ill. Scoutmaster Lowell Hansen was awarded the Eagle Scout badge Sunday by Scout executive Wiil-iam Wiil-iam S. Barton of Ephraim. Mr. Hansen is the only Eagle Scout in Spring City. i Mrs. Clarence Mickelsen entertained enter-tained at a dinner Sunday in honor of Mr. Mickelsen's birthday birth-day anniversary. Mr. Mao Gorff of Salt L-?ke City visited at the home '? Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Larsen las; week. Mr. Gorff spoke in Sacrament meeting Sunday. He told of his missionary work in Denmark where he labored with Blain Larsen, Lar-sen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Larsen. Mrs. Clara Allred, Mrs. Joseph S. Schofield and Mrs. Mary E. Acord visited Mrs. Maud Acord at Moroni Wednesday the occasion being her birthday. Charles Clark left Wednesday on a business trip to Salt Lake City. Funeral services were held Wednesday Wed-nesday at 2 p. m. at the home uf Mrs. Jane Donaldson for the infant in-fant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Ball, who died Tuesday of pneumonia at Clear Creek. The prayers were offered by Marinus Mortensen and John Peterson. The speakers were James W. Blain and Reid H. Allred. '.Interment was in the City cemetery. Besides her parents and a sister of Clear Creek, the little girl is survived by her grandmother, Mrs. Jane Donaldson, and great grandmother, grand-mother, Mrs. Serelda Blain, of this citv. |
