Show The Way To World Peace Those of us who are interested in world peace might as well re alize that the fighting frontier of this ideal is in 1he children who are today receiving their impressions impres-sions of the world and its history. There will be little chance for the success of the idea if school children are to be pumped full ol national prejudices and historic hates. There will be no possibility of a warless world as long as the young folks are brought up without with-out an understanding of the conditions con-ditions that face other peoples and some recognition of their rights in a world big enough fot all its people. We believe in a national patriotism pat-riotism and the sincere love of one's country, but it should not be an occasion for jingoism or absurdities. ab-surdities. Occasionally, one may criticise his or her country and be extremely patriotic. This truth should be recognized. |
