Show .1 . Pretty Wedding at Mt. Pleasant An outstanding social event of the season was the wedding Friday Fri-day of Miss Marian Eatinger and Robert L. Ericksen. Miss Eatinger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. "Eatinger, and Bob Ericksen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry G. Ericksen, were born in Mt. Pleasant and grew to maturity matur-ity here and have a host of relatives rela-tives and friends. The marriage was solemnized in the Manti Temple, President L. R. Anderson officiating. A six o'clock wedding dinner was tendered the couple and a few near relatives and closest friends of the two by the parents of the groom, with twenty-four plates placed. About two hundred guests were entertained at Armory Hall in the evening by the parents of the bride. In the receiving line were the bride and groom attended by the Misses Maurine Connover, Eleanor Eardley, LoTrice Pack. Myrtle Johnston and Wanda Mat-son, Mat-son, maid of honor and brides maids; and Seth J. Larsen and Horold Bateman, best men, all college friends of the contracting parties. Little Naomi Ericksen acted as ring bearer, with Donna Eatinger and Elaine Sorenson as flower girls. A musical program was rendered render-ed during the reception, followed by a mimic marriage in which Mr. Larson officiated in the ring presentation, pre-sentation, the ring bearer and flower girls leading the march. The balance of the evening was devoted to dancing. Ice cream, wedding cake and punch were served. |
