Show MORONI I By Special Correspondence . The Misses Ilene Hanks, Ardell Hogan and Connie Larsen of Salt Lake City were guests at the home of Mrs. D. C. Nelson last week. Mrs. Nelson and her guests and Mrs. Frank Bruno visited in Farview last Friday at the home of Mrs. Francis Rasmussen. Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Olsen are the proud parents of twin boys. Mrs. Olsen was formerly Miss Rosina Nielsen of this city. The following men were delegates dele-gates chosen to attend the democratic demo-cratic convention held at Manti Friday night of last week: Elmer Lauritzen, Ed Frantsen, Marvin Anderson, Marvin Draper, Frank lin Hansen, James Swensen Sr., James Swensen Jr., Soren C. Christensen, Harry J. Peterson, Vernile Jensen, Verno Larsen and Amos Draper Sr. A bundle shower in honor oi Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Anderson was given Friday evening at the home of the bride's parents. They received re-ceived many beautiful and useful gifts from their many friends and relatives. They have bought the home formerly owned by Ruebon Johnson and will be at home there. - Mrs. Andrew W. Jensen and Mrs. Vincent Christensen are very ( ill at their homes. c Miss Naomi Bessie of Manti is the guest of Miss Sadie Little this ( week. t Mr. and Mrs. Amasa Morley celebrated their golden wedding July 10th at their home. Cend Hansen Morley was bora f in Denmark November 24, 1863. She is the daughter of Mons and , Caroline Hansen. Amasa Morley ! was born in Moroni March 26. ! 1862, and is the son of Isaac and Francis Morley. They .were mar- ' ried July 10, 1882. , They are the parents of the following fol-lowing eleven children who are all living: Lafe Morley of Payson; Leonard and Vance Morley of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Caroline Anderson An-derson of Ephraim; Mrs. Ella Cloward, Mrs. Evelnyn Wilson, Mrs. Mildred Seeley, Amasa Jr., Roy, Leo and Bill Morley all of Moroni; 52 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren all living. There has never been a death or a break in their family during their fifty years of married life. Mr. and Mrs. James Hardy and Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Blackham and family were Salt Lake City visitors Sunday. |
