Immediate steps should be taken at once and confer flith President Neilson upon this project. The Goose-berry Goose-berry is the major project for development of Sanpete's resources at the present time. It is possible to get the Gooseberry Reservoir constructed. con-structed. Now is the time to act. ,i i r Mayor Winters and Council Plan Needed Improvements Br. W. P. Winters, Mayor of Mount Pleasant, has made application for $35,000.00 Relief Fund to be used by Mount Pleasant City in completing the water works system oy replacing all old wood pipe in the system with cast iron pipe, building an additional water storage stor-age supply reservoir and securing additional water for the system. The city also expects to extend the electric light lines and improve the distributing system. A community com-munity swimming pool is also contemplated in the program. pro-gram. There is one other project which some one should suggest that the city include in their program and that is lo gravel and oil the road from the monument inter section to the cenieterjr to bury the dead. There are so many dead ones in Mount Pleasant that we believe something should be done for their last ride. |
