Mr. and Mrs. Dean' Schofield of Rupert, Idaho are visiting here with relatives. Mrs. M. R. Strate entertained the members of the Aletha club at her home Friday afternoon. Howard Rasmussen of Mount Pleasant, who recently returned from a mission to Denmark, was the speaker at the sacrament meeting Sunday. He talked on "The Pioneer Women of Utah." Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Williams and children of Murray are visiting visit-ing with Mr. and Mrs. John T. Blairu Dr. A. J. Rasmussen and family of Minniapolis, Minnesota, enroute to the Olympic games at Los Angeles, An-geles, California, stopped over here Saturday and Sunday for a visit with his brother, Waldemar, and sister, Mrs. Peter Frandsen. A group of men, boys, and teams are working on the mountain moun-tain road on the Cordouray Flat under the direction of Vivian Larsen Lar-sen Frank Watson Rhea Allved, Ross Neff and Pearl Jones are on a trip in the mountains for a week. Lowell Hansen, Scoutmaster, together to-gether with 21 Boy Scouts from here, left Monday morning for Huntington. They returned home Friday. One member of the bishopric bish-opric stayed with the boys each night. Mrs. Margaret Osborne suffered a paralytic stroke Monday. Mrs. Iva Aiken and children are visiting relatives in Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Everett Larsen are proud to announce the birth of a baby boy born Sunday, July 17. Veo Aiken has gone to Salt Lake City for medical treatment. Mrs. James Nunley was hostess at a dinner Monday evening for a number of relatives and friends, the occasion being her birthday anniversary. |
