Show Two Days Meet On The Forest Working in cooperation with Director Direc-tor C. J. Forsling of the Great Basin Experiment Station located on the forest reserve ten miles east of Ephraim, Eph-raim, this is to assist in spreading the news of the 4th bi-annual field days which will be held next Friday and Saturday, August 16th and 17th. All woolgrowers, cattlemen and others interested in range problems are cordially invited to attend. The object of the two day meeting is to afford an opportunity to see the result of experimental work in range management to improve the native forage crop in', artificial range reseed-ing reseed-ing and in eitoslon anrl stream flow being conducted, at 'the station. In addition to : Director C. I. Forsling, Fors-ling, who is in charge of the station and his local staff and forest rangers, there will be" representatives from the Ogden forest office, forest officials from Nevada and New Mexico, Paul G. Reddington, chief or the Bureau of Biological survey, Mr. . Stanley Young also of the Washington office. Dr. Wood, Director of scientific work of the department of Agriculture, Director Di-rector Wrn. Peterson, and other members mem-bers of the public domain committee. County Agents and livestockmen from other counties m the state. Meals will be furnished for you without cost. Your men should bring their blankets, however a good place to spread them will be furnished. Should you bring your family making this an outing too, I think it would be well to firing your own food, in order that facilities at the station will not be too crowded for our outside out-side visitors. |
