Show Miss El Rasmussen, whose marriage to Dr. Walter D. Tueller of Provo takes place Sunday August 18, has been the motif for a number of social functions during the past week. Tuesday afternoon Miss Thelma Beaumann ana Miss Edith Aldrich entertained en-tertained twenty-five guests at a bridge luncheon in her horror and Mrs. Charles Sneddon entertained for her at a garden party Wednesday afternoon for twenty guests. Thursday afternoon the bride-elect was guest of honor at a kensington given by memoers of Ivy Chapter No. 10 O. E. S. at the home of Mrs. J. W. Locke and Saturday afternoon Mrs. C. A. Hone entertained for her at luncheon and bridge. Bishop Henry P. Olson, Miss Alice Olson, Helen and Rex Olson, Mrs. William Hansen, Marian and Buddy Hansen left Wednesday morning for a weeks visit with relatives in Jerome, Idaho. Carlton Seely of the U. S. Marines is home from San Deige, California, visiting with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Seely. Mr. Robert Jackson of Bingham and Mr. and Mrs. Elijah Creswell of Salt Lake City have been visiting their mother and sister in this city. |
