Show City Election Is Unusually Quiet Tuesday's election held at Mount Pleasant was rather a quiet affair. There was only one ticket in the field, and the Republicans went into office without any effort. A little humor was injected ini the election by some few tree corn Amen-can Amen-can citizens who felt like expressing that free spirit and voted as they pleased. From all appearances of the result of the election'; there were a number of candidates chosen and received re-ceived votes by their friends for mayor may-or and counciimen.
