Show Snow College Notes Maple Canyon Hike Enjoyed The students and teachers of Snow College enjoyed their annual an-nual Maple Canyon hike last Wednesday. Wed-nesday. The wonders of the canyon can-yon were viewed, and weiners rolls, marshmallows, and apples were served. The following program pro-gram was given: Singing with uk-elele uk-elele accompaniment, Rex chris-tensen, chris-tensen, Ford Anderson, and Bill Peterson; Vee Hunt read; words of welcome, President M. H. Knud-sen; Knud-sen; whistling and ukelele selections, selec-tions, Alfred Larsen and Bill Peterson; Pe-terson; "The Formation of Box Canyon," H. R. Christensen; singing, sing-ing, "Sweet Adeline," faculty members. Snow Badgers Defeated Snow Badgers were badly defeated de-feated in a game with Richfield on the latter's field, Friday afternoon. after-noon. The score stood 36-0 in Richfleld's favor. Dance Held A well attended Snow College and Ephraim high school Joint dance was held Friday evening in Dreamland. Music was furnished by the college orchestra. Committees Chosen For Founder's Day The following committees have been appointed to make preparations prepara-tions for Founder's Day to be held at Snow college November 4: General arrangement, H. C. Snell, chairman; Helen A Nelson, LaPrele Crabb; Program (morning), Fern Youns; chairman; F. J. Fjelsted, Mary Williamson; Parade, H. E. Jensen, chairman; H. R. Christensen, F. J. Gurney, Gladys Youngberg; Publicity and Invitation, Lucy A. Phillips, chairman; J. S. Chris-tenson, Chris-tenson, Emma B. Sorenson; Sports and Dance, Wm. G. Barton, Bar-ton, chairman; I. W. Young, and Charles A. Wall. Elections Held Elections were held at Snow college col-lege Friday for the purpose of electing student-body, class and club officers. The student-body officers elected elect-ed were: Activity manager, Dean Peterson; cheer leader, ReedBrin-ton; ReedBrin-ton; Forensic manager, Allen Young; athletic manager, Francis Thomas. Sophomore officers elected were. President, Dean Peterson; vice president, Gertrude Christensen ; cheer leader, Morrin Armstrong: activity manager, Spencer Squire.
