Show SPRING CITY j ! By Special Correspondence Mr. Virt Barney and family ol Delta visited relatives in Spring City last weex. Mrs. LeRoy Black entertained several school friends of her daughter Mildred on Friday eve-j eve-j ning. ' Mrs. Joseph P. Beck entertained ! a number of relatives at dinner on Friday evening of last week. I Mrs. Almina Peterson has re-! re-! turned from Salt Lake City where i she has been receiving medical at-I at-I tention for the past two months. Mrs. Peterson is improving and is now able to be about. Tuesday evening- after the retf- ' ular M. I. A. meeting the officers ' of that organization gave a social ! in the Victory Hall. A program was rendered and refreshments: ; were served. i ! Mr. Earl Peterson of Salt Lake I City was a guest ounday of his ! mother, Mrs. Almma Peterson, i Vein Bills and I'amiiy spent last week visiting relatives in Fairview and Mt. Pleasant,. Miss Ida Beck, daughter of Mr and Mrs. Joseph I. Beck is ill, a'' her home, suffering from an at-" tack of appendicitis. Mrs. Mary Jane Aiken received a year's subscription to the Relic; Society Magazine as first prize for c:ie hundred per cent attendance " Relief ijciety 't-eachers Training Train-ing class. Two more prizes were also given. The Spring City M. I. A. under direction of the Bishopric will ' hold a carnival in the Victory Hall Friday and Saturday. Lunch will be served and entertainment will be provided for both da,y and night. Clothes, fancy work, cakes pies, candy, popcorn and a lot of other things will be sold. |
