Show West Bountiful By ALICE MITCHELL The canning of fruits and vegetables, jams, jellies, pickles pick-les and other produce has been going on at a great speed during dur-ing the past week. Many people peo-ple have testified that they were able to live well during periods of strikes and joblessness jobless-ness because of their proper storage. The children of the West Bountiful Elementary enjoyed "Bronco Week." They were taught to live together in peace in school and also how to write songs and yells. The Fackrell DUP camp will hold their meetings the last Thursday of the month at 7:30 p.m. They will be held at the home of the Dan Mitchells. The West Bountiful 1st Ward Talent Show was a great success. Nanella Jones has had a lot of fun testing a three-wheel chair this past week. She has been able to go to visit many of her friends and learn a new skill. She went out to dinner with her brother during the past week. Frank and Signe Jensen enjoyed en-joyed a trip to San Francisco. The Jensens entertained their granddaughter, Lisa Woodard for her birthday. Her father and sister Cathy also enjoyed en-joyed the fun. Frank and Signe Jensen were entertained for their wedding day at the Panorama Panor-ama Room at the University of Utah. Their hostesses were granddaughter Pam Hood and her friend Lloyd High. Janet Johnson Preece and husband Ray are parents of a girl. The Frank Jensens now have six grandsons and eight granddaughters. The Ken Wellingtons were happy to have a visit from Janet's mother, Elizabeth Judd from Delta. The cancer screening test was held on Sept. 20. Florence Ware is getting very impatient since she has not been able to walk for several sever-al months, she had a visit from a niece, Thelma Whitney from Border, Ida. |
