Approved the housing author-j author-j 'y request ; named Council-i Council-i nen Bob Linnell and Paul Allen to serve as a mayor pro-temp; pro-temp; and approved the Planning Plan-ning Commission items. THE COUNCIL adopted a resolution granting the Davis County Housing Authority to convert the old "Wasatch Front Regional Council" complex com-plex at 424 W. Center into a 17-unit low to moderate income in-come housing complex. Financing will be through industrial in-dustrial development bonds and the apartments will be used to serve families with incomes in-comes of $16,000 or less. Bountiful will have no financial finan-cial obligation to the financing or operation of the units, it was explained. COUNCILMEN Paul Allen and Bob Linnell were appointed by the mayor and ratified by the council - Councilman Coun-cilman Dean Hill and themselves them-selves - to serve as mayor pro-temp. pro-temp. Councilman Allen will serve from Sept. 21 to Oct. 2 and Councilman Linnell will serve from Oct. 3-14. Both will have full voting power whiie serving in this temporary position. posi-tion. Among the Planning Commission Com-mission items, approval was given to Circle-K store at 458 N. 500 W. to install three video games; preliminary approval was given to the 12-lot Merrill Subdivision at 1500 East and 200 South; and preliminary approval to the Camper Shell Sales and Installation Company Com-pany to erect a building at 1 229 S. 500 W. |
