Show IS. C. A. WHEELOCK DIES AIJfllTh1 Mrs. C. A. Wheelock, a former for-mer resident of this city, died Monday at Mammoth, Utah after a long illness from cancer of the stomach. Deceased was born in Mt. Pleasant, March 2, 1872. She was married here to Cyrus Wheelock thirty years ago and later the family moved to Eureka and then to Mammoth. She is survived by her husband, hus-band, one son, Claude Wheelock, Whee-lock, her mother, Mrs. Jacob Christensen of this city and the following brothers and sisters. Christian, Hyrum, Jens and Thomas Christensen, Mrs. Grace Thompson, Mrs. Ernest McArthur, Mrs. Lena Shelley, all of Mt. Pleasant, Mrs. Sadie Brady of Rigby, Idaho; Mrs. Charles Averett of Ogden; Mrs. Albert Norman of Fair-view, Fair-view, Mrs. Byron Wheelock of Mammoth, and Henry Christensen Chris-tensen of Fountain Green. The body was brought to Mt. Pleasant and sen-ices were held in the South Ward chapel Wednesday afternoon. A. L. Petersen, presided. Prayers were offered bj William Olson and Henry Hasler, and the speakers were A. L. Petersen, Arthur O. Neil-sen Neil-sen and James Monsen. Mrs. Obed Nelson sang "Face to Face," and Miss Christie Clark sang "In My Father's House Are Many Mansions.'' The ward choir with Mrs. H. G. Ericksen as soloist sang, "I Know That My Redeemer Lives. ' ' The grave was dedicated by Mads Andersen. The pall bearers were six brothers of Mrs. Wheelock, Jens, Christian, Chris-tian, Thomas and Henry Christensen, Chris-tensen, Thomas Thompson and Ernest McArthur. The services were largely attended and an exceptionally beautiful floral offering evidenced evi-denced the esteem in which all held Mrs. .Wheelock. |
