Show USE WALL FIXTURES IN PLACE OF JACKS Heavy Bent Steel Rods Useful in Walls of Garage. When building a brick garage, the owner had a number of heavy bent steel rods imbedded in the walls, as shown in Fig. 1. The purpose of these was not evident until the garage was completed, when the owner fitted to them forged steel hooks, made as In Fig. 5, and thereby formed removable supports that were used In place of hoists or Jocks. As several cars could be suspended at one time, it was possible pos-sible to do much more repairing than before these fixtures were used. They can easily be installed in a garage already built by cutting holes through the walls for large eyebolts, as indicated In Fig. 4, and fastening them with large washers and nuts.
