Since we know that all diseases are preventable and curable, it Is the purpose of all Public Health Associations Associa-tions to teach ways and means of prevention pre-vention and cure. The school nurse does this through her work with the school child, in teaching health habits ha-bits and by making school health inspections in-spections to find any defects, which if corrected will increase the resistance resis-tance against disease. Home v:sits and instructions to the parents regarding treatment and caire of sickness in the home is a very important part of the work of the County School nurse. Number of pupils inspected 136, number of home visits made 5, number of defects de-fects found 116, instructions to parents par-ents 4, health talks at public meetings meet-ings 1. . The support and co-operation of the parents is very important to tb.9 success of this work. The large percent of defects is due to the many bad teeth. Office hours each Monday P.
