Madame Mad-ame Schumann. Heink is coming to the Disabled American Veterans' national na-tional convention at her own expense to sing for the wounded and disabled veterans. She assisted similarly at the organization's national convention conven-tion in Minneapolis a year ago. Governor Charles R. Mabey, Mayor C. Clarence Neslen and convention Committee Chairman Gaylen 3. Young will give addresses of welcome, wel-come, which will be responded to briefly by National Commander Jas. A.. McFarland, and Past National Commanders Judge Robert S. Marx of Cincinnati, Ohio, and C. Hamilton Cook, of Buffalo. New York. Greetings by Utah's United States Senators and Congressmen, . will be followed by the personal messages from leaders of the Grand Army of the Republic, United Confederate Veterans, Spanish War Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. All musical programs, addresses and remarks are to be broadcasted to all parts of the United States over radio broadcasting station "KDYL", which will be in charge of H. C. Mall-ander.-a Salt Lake disabled veteran of the world war. Special sections are to be reserved for the national officers and distinguished distin-guished guests, convention delegates and alternates. Gold Star Mothers and '.Fathers, Congressional Medal of Honor men, and leaders of other veterans and patriotic societies. No tickets will be required . for admls. sion to the Tabernacle, the committee commit-tee urging that spectators come early to assure getting good seats for the epochal meeting, which will be adjourned ad-journed following the appointment of standing committee for the convention con-vention period, shortly before noon.
