Walker of Salt Lake, Mrs. Robert H. Hinckley, Mrs. II. C. Jacobs, Mrs. James Lar-sen, Lar-sen, Mrs. R. L. Madsen, Mrs. Guy Candland, and Mrs. Vera S. Winters. Mrs. R. L. Madsen Mad-sen and Miss Bernice Madsen entertained Tuesday at a luncheon for the bride. Mr. 1 and Mrs. W. D. Candland, par-1 ents of the bride entertained at dinner today for the bridal party and near relatives of the young couple, and Saturday morning Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Rawlings parents of the bridegroom bride-groom will entertain at a wedding wed-ding breakfast at the Hotel i Savoy at Manti, immediately following the ceremony. CopelanJ entertained enter-tained Tuesday evening at a luncheon in honor of the Pep Club, the neworganization for Wasatch Academy men. The club was organized last week with Jack Robinson as president; presi-dent; James Ruggeri, secretary; secre-tary; Fred Becker, treasurer, land Paul McLean, sergeant-at-I arms. At last evening's meet-jing meet-jing W. K. Throndsen and Coach J. C. Wilson addressed the club and music was furnished fur-nished by a string quartett and a male chorus. Farmer, formerly form-erly vice-president of Hastings College, Hastings, Nebraska, gave an inspirational address on the "Elements of Success" before the student body of Wasatch Academy in chapel exercises Tuesday morning'. Dr. Farmer left Tuesday for Los Antri'les where he will represent re-present Westminster College in a financial campaign in the ( 'alifornia cities. Mrs. L. C. Rasmusseu is at home again after a month's visit with rlentives in Canada. Mrs. Rasmussen also 'attended the dedication ceremonies of the new temple in Cardstoii. j |
