Show North S;uipete High Has Good Foot Ball Material. Neatly every boy in the (North Sanpete High School is vntering athletics this year and i;o toot ball men are practicing daily. Many of last years men are back again and tin school should make au enviable showing show-ing in the Sanpete Sevier Division Divi-sion during the year 192o-192t. Sheldon Monsen, captain ot last year's team, was recently reelected to captain the team this year. Coach Henry Terry and Mr. A. W. Anderson, former for-mer star athlete of the U. A. C. both of whom attended coach Knude Koekne's "School for Conches" last summer at tho B. V. U., will direct the practices prac-tices of the boys, and a good team will, no doubt be developed devel-oped as there is au abundance of material. Mr. D. O. Peterson, Peter-son, who is now an instructor jat the school and a brother of eoaoli Yadid Peterson at the L. D. S. U. in Salt Lake City, will also assist in building up the football squad. The boys are enthusiastic about their work and are anxious to start the regular schedule. v Plans are under way for the construction of a football net'' on the east half of the school block, and bids are now being secured to determine the cost of leveling th ground. It is expected that work will be started in the very near future ;and that a first class athletic j campus will be the ultimate result. |
