Show FAIRVIEW A welcome home party iu honor of Elder Gh-n B. Miner was given by the Fairview South ward Monday evening in the GymunMiuu. E. 11. Anderson of the Bishopric acted as master of ceremonies. The following program was given: Community singing, Prayer, L. C. Miner, Speech of Welcome by Lionel Peterson, Response by Glen B. Miner, who also gave some of his experiences, ex-periences, Vocal duet, Jesse L. Young and Stanley Brady. Comic reading Miss Genevieve .Parry, Music Mrs. Ira Cox. S ehes were also given by-Bishop by-Bishop J. R. (! rahaiie S. S. ! Sanderson and Bishop P. Sund- , wall. The rest of the evening was spent in games and dancing. danc-ing. A. Mrs. Sophia Noixlstrom of Soda Springs, Idaho, is spending spend-ing the week with friends and relatives. Bishop and Mrs. Peter Sund wall announce the arrival of a baby girl at their home Friday-September Friday-September L'l. A baby boy-was boy-was welcomed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Eli A Day, Jr. the same day. Hugh Brady of Idaho spent the week-end w ith Fairview relatives. Mrs. Brady and children, who spent the past two weeks, here returned home w it li him Monday. Mrs. Sheldon Greaves of Epliraim spent the week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. 11. Anderson. Mrs. A. Ira Cox of Amnio, Idaho spent the week here with relatives. Mrs. Maud Graham, who : spent the past sixteen months !at Hawaii, returned home this i week. i Mr. Parry of Richfield was the guest of his daughter, Miss Genevieve Parry, the fore part of the week. j Glen B. Miner and Artie Miner went to Provo Tuesday where thev will attend college at the B. Y. U. Mr. and Mrs. Hyruni Farn-worth Farn-worth of Gridley, California, visited relatives at Mt. Pleasant Pleas-ant and Fairview- this week. Alden Peterson left this week for Los Angeles California, Califor-nia, where he goes to take a course in Dentistry. Hugh Anderson, who is attending at-tending the B. Y. V., spent the week-end in Fairview. Miss Josie Norman entertained enter-tained the Mystery girls at a keusington and luncheon at the home of Mrs. Lafayette Rollins on Tuesday evening. On account of the school being be-ing closed Friday the Comuni-ty Comuni-ty Fair was held Thursday. A dance and social was given at 'the Pavilion in the evening. |
