Show SPRING CITY Miss Olive Mortensen departed for Salt Lake Sunday. . James' R. Nielson of 'Storrs is a business visitor in Spring City. Abe Strate of Clear Creek is a business visitor in Spring City this week. Mrs. Aaron Brough is spending a short time visJting with her sister, Mrs. J. I. Benson, at Castle Gate. George M. Rasmussen departed for Clear Creek Monday where he has secured employment. W .L. Allred and H. L. Sumsion are among the business visitors at Salt Lake City for a few days. Jens Nielson and family departed for Murtaugh, Idaho, Thursday. Mr. Nielson has two sons residing at that place. Miss Cloe Larsen, who is attending scbool at Ephraim, spent the Satur- day and Sunday at home visiting with her mother, Mrs. Diantha Larsen. Clarence Strate departed for his home in Canada Monday after having hav-ing spent several weeks visiting with relatives here. Earl Bilington went to Bingham Tuesday after a short stay with his family here. Mr. Billington has been suffering with a sprained hand. The Spring City Junior High School Basketball team met the Moroni Mor-oni team at the Moroni pavilion January Jan-uary 26, the game resulting in a score of 24 to 33 in favor of the Spring City team. V. Justesen was starring for the home team and proved prov-ed himself most capable of the position. posi-tion. February 3, the Spring City Junior High School team played a return game with the Moroni team at the. Spring City Opera House, resulting m a score of 11 to 15 in favor of the Spring City boys, the Junior High School feels very proud of their record, re-cord, having won all games played thus far. The team will meet the Mount Pleasant boys at the Armory Hall February 9. A number of the Spring City High School girls entertained in honor of. the High School Basketball team at the home of Miss Elva Mortensen Wednesday evening, the decoration scheme being carried out very beautifully beau-tifully in blue and white. Carnations Carna-tions and ferns formed the centerpiece center-piece on the dining table, where a very delicious luncheon was served. Games and music were features of the evening's entertainment.
