Show ! SOCIAL EVENTS The O. S. A. c'.ab will meet Wednesday afternoon- February 14, with Mrs. A. C. Madsen. Mrs. Andrew Knudsen will entertain enter-tain the Home Culture club Wednesday Wednes-day afternoon, February 14. Mrs. A. Crane entertained Sunday afternoon with a family 'dinner in honov oi Mr. Crane's 81st birthday birth-day anniversary. Covers were laid for twelve. The O. S. A. club have issued about thirty-five invitations to members and , friends for a valentine party Saturday evening at the Ervin Stans-field Stans-field home. Mrs. E. C. Johnson was hostess at a kensinion and luncheon Tuesday afternoon in compliment to her niece, Mrs. N. !'. Madsen of Kupert, Idaho. Other guests were Mrs. E. W. Wail. Mrs. C. T. Drage and Mrs. W. E. Mad: en. A. C. Wall, G. Ronald Nilson, 10. W. Wall, A. I). Christensen and A. L. Xiisou wee entertained Friday evening even-ing at the home of 11. F. Wall at a stag party. An elaborate dinner was served n'ler spending the evening in card games. Mrs. O. F. WiU entertained the Women's Missionary society at her home Tuesday afternoon. The de-votionals de-votionals were in charge of Miss Ethel McCormlck. Mrs. J. D. Mey-rick Mey-rick read an article, "The Korean JentP'-or," and Miss Eleanor Draper contributed an excellent paper oil j "Early Missionary Activity of the Church." Fourteen members and guests were present. One of the most pretentious social affairs of the week was the musicale given by the Twentieth Century cluu at the home of Miss Margaret Cand-land Cand-land Thursday afternoon. Piano and Victrola selections were given from Verdi's operas "Aida," "11 Trova-tore," Trova-tore," and "Kigolello." Further yleasuie was given uy several vocal solos irom these operas sung by Miss Edda Mae Gibson. Miss Margaret Candland began the reading of Maeterlinck's Mae-terlinck's "the blue Bird." About twenty club members were piesent and the. following special guests, Mrs. Royal Candlmul, Mrs. Mabel J. Earle. Miss Stella Olson, Miss Ruby Madsen, uii'l M r.i. Swell . Neilsou and Mrs. Free! Olson of Fairview. J. Morgan Johnson was host Sat-: Sat-: urday evening at a most enjoyable stag dinner for the members of Ihe local Masonic lodge.
