Show RED CROSS NOTES. The last weekly contributions contribu-tions netted the chapter $74.40 divided as follows: Birch Creek 4 2.05 Homes near river 3.85 Mount Pleasant '.' 67.30 Profit on eggs ; 1.20 Total ; $74.40 The committee in charge of this work wishes to thank all the girls who so willingly gave their time to make the rounds each week for the collections. More than sixty girls were engaged en-gaged in this work and their efforts were worthy of the chapter's sincere appreciation. Two members sent in renewal subscriptions this week, Mrs. Peter H. Madsen and Mrs. A. Aldrich. A gift of $1.00 was received from Mrs. Hannah Wright Candland. Fairview reports three new members and sent in $300.18 which has been raised from ball games, sports and . voluntary donations. In the same way Moroni has raised rais-ed $100.00 which was given to the chapter this week. Mrs. R. B. Norton was the donor of another an-other crib quilt. The city's service flag is having 36 additional ad-ditional stars sewed on under the supervision of . Mrs. Aimer Crane, who is being helped by a party of young ladies. Another allotment of refugee garments were received this week from headquarters and a large attendance is requested at the Red Cross rooms next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday Wednes-day so that these garments may be completed with all possible speed. Chester sent in the following finished articles: 4 sweaters, 16 pairs socks, and 21 refugee dresses. Fountain Green sent in 25 ladies chemise, 27 children's child-ren's petticoats, 7 children's chemise, 12 comfort kit, 11 pair's socRs, and 1 'sweater. |
