Show 1 FAIRVIEW On Monday, June 21st the stork called at the home of Archie E. Anderson An-derson and presented them with a pair of twin boys. Mr. Andrew Neilson went to Ma-pleton Ma-pleton Tuesday to visit his son, An-thon An-thon Neilson, and other relatives. Mr. an(. Mrs. Martin Allred returned re-turned last week from a three weeks visit with friends and relatives in Idaho. On their way home they stopped in Salt Lake City and attended attend-ed an Allred reunion held there the 12th and 13th of June. Mrs. Martha Bills of Schofield is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Vance and other relatives. Mrs. John Vance and children of Phoenix, Arizona is spending the month with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Johnson, and visiting relatives. The City Council appointed the following cimmittee to arrange for July 4th: Chas Peacock, Chairman; N. B. Pritchett, Jack Pearson, Jessie Young, Henry Terry Mrs. Willard Vance, Jr., Mrs. Kimball Moker and MrB. J. H. Sanderson. They are arranging ar-ranging an excellent program and expect ex-pect to have a fine time. The Old Folks party given June 18th was a great success, more than one hundred eighty old people being out. They were hauled to and from i the party in autos. A splendid din-& din-& ner was served in the pavilion where toasts' and speeches were given. In the afternoon a free picture show ,4 was given for their benefit after J which they returned to the pavilion and were treated to punch and a bo-I bo-I quet of flowers. l Quite a number of old people were . unable to be present on account of illness and to all these dinners were sent. Also their ribbon badges and boquets. A dance was given in thr K evening for everybody, those over sixty six-ty being the special guests. |
