Show I SPRING CITY Miss Nida Allred came home from Salt Lake Sunday. Mrs. Lloyd Clawson and Mrs. Hans Nielsou were Provo visitors the latter part of the week. Mrs. J. Carl Allred returned to her home at Provo Monday after a pleasant pleas-ant visit with relatives here. J. I. Benson returned home Tuesday Tues-day after an absence of several monthsin the northern part of the 3tate. Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Strate and Mrs. Rasmus Strate departed for Salt Lake Thursday in Mr St.rate's new Dodge automobile for a few days visit with relatives and friends. Orvil Clitton, the sixteen year oia son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hansen, passed away at their home Monday morning. He had been a sufferer from acute articular Rheumatism for some time which resulted in his death. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in the Tabernacle Taber-nacle and enterment was made in the Spring City Cemetery. The Senior Bee-Hive Girls entertained enter-tained at a shower in honor of Miss Lola Backman Thursday evening even-ing of last week in the old meeting house. A program and games constituted con-stituted the evening's entertainment. Refreshments were served during the evening. Many beautiful gifts were presented by the eighty-three girls who joined in wishing her a successful success-ful journey and mission. A hayrack ride was given in her honor by the same girls Friday forenoon, all the girls accompanying her to the station in the same manner to bid her Good Bye. |
