CHILDREN HAVE NARROW ESCAPE Three littje children of Theron Syme of Moroni had a very narrow escape from being seriously injured Monday, June 21st while Mr. Syme drove his bmggy into the livery yard to get a roll of tedding which he had there. A small boy was playing with a garden hose and as Mr. Syme left the vehicle to get his luggage the boy carelessly turned the stream of water upon the animal which was hitched to the buggy. The animal dashed through ,the yard and turned two of the children out of the buggy as they passed over some obstacles while the largest girl got her foot caught under the foot iron and was unable to release re-lease herself from the buggy and she hung over the side with her head downward. Mr. Syme saw the runaway animal and leaped over the fence just in time to catch it before it could make it's way out of the yard. Jabez Fauz. Jr., a merchant who was near by assisted in releasing the ;irl from the vehicle. The children escaped with slight in ju rips.
