Show SPRING CITY Miss Junieta Schofield is spending a few days in Castle Valley. Mr. and Mrs. J. II. Coleman went to Trovo Friday of last week to visit a few days with felatives. Mrs. Wm. Sorensen departed for Wasatch Saturday to visit with her husband who has employment there. Peter Mickle, who has employment at Eureka., spent the 4 th visiting with his family at Spring City. Henry Hansen and family of Salt Lake are here visiting with relatives at Spring City. Evan Mortensen has arrived home after having spent some time in the northern part of the state. James R. Nielson made a business trip to Lehi Sunday returning Monday. Mon-day. S. W. Jieck and wife and Mrs. La- mont Schofield of Rupert, Idaho are here visiting with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Allred of Eureka Eu-reka are visiting with Mr. Allred's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Orson Allred of Spring City. The safe and sane way in which Spring City celebrated Independence Day caused no accidents to be reported. report-ed. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Lund who have been here visiting with relatives rela-tives and friends returned home Friday Fri-day of last w eek. The ball game played between the Moroni Owls and the Spring City Mutuals here July 5th resulted in a Kcoro of 12 to 19 in favor of the Ow lo. The return game played at Moroni in the afternoon also resulted in a victory for the Owls by one score. Paul Rosenlund of Fairview has started up a blacksmith shop one-half block cast from the Baxter & Ulain store. Mr. Rosenlund has installed new equipment and is prepared to do first class work of all kinds along the blacksmith line. A number of the. boys who went away to shear in the spring returned home, this week. They have been in Wyoming and South Dakota and report re-port a bad season on account of so much storm in the parts they had occasion oc-casion lo visit. The return trip was made through Iowa and Nebraska. . |
