Show FUNERAL SERVICES FOR ABRAM JOHNSON Funeral services for Abraui John-sou John-sou were held Sunday afternoon at 3:3U o'clock at the North Ward Chapel. Chap-el. People filled the building to its capacity, Bishop 71. C. Jacobs Presiding. Presid-ing. The ward choir furnished the sacred sa-cred music. "I'll e opening song was "Sometime We'll Understand." Prayer was offered by Elder John Carter. "God Be With You Till We Meet Again" was rendered by the choir. Elder W. D. Candland, a close and persona! associate being the first speaker gav, many bep.utiful eulogies in tribute to the memory of the departed de-parted one.. Amasa Aldrich followed by relating early boyhood acquaintance acquain-tance and the lov0 and respect he had gained for Mr. Johnson. Mrs. Emma E. Anderson sang a nolo entitled en-titled "Some. Time. Sonic Where." Bishop Jacobs expresied the sympathetic sympa-thetic sentiments of Elder Kofford of Provo, a former business associate of Mr. Johnson for many years in the mercantile business at Mount Pleasant. Pres. C. N. Idind spoke very highly of Mr. Johnson as a man of wide experience and one of many friends. He stated that he was a man of ability and was pleased to help the community in many wave. He loved music and was a good singer. sing-er. Bishop Jacobs made a few clos ing remarks and the choir sang "Rest . Rest For The Weary Soul." Services were closed by J'rcu. A. Mcrz. Interment was made in (he City Cemetery. Mr. Johnson leaves a widow, wi-dow, two daughters, Mrs. Mabel Earle and Miss Geneve Johnson aud son, Verge Johnson. . t |
