Show TWO OF SPRING CITY'S PIONEERS PASSED AWAY Mr. William G. Billington, 'for many years a resident of Spring City, passed away at his home in this city. Friday January 15th, from what the doctor pronounced unknown chronic disease. Mr. Billington was 8 4 years old and leaves besides his wife and one child, many relatives and friend? to mourn his loss. No public funeral was held for him on account of the family having been exposed to Small Pox, and as several cases had broken out a few days previous it was deemed advisable not to conduct public pub-lic services. Enterment was made in the Spring City cemetery Monday. Mrs. Kisten Rasmussen, one of Spring City's pioneer residents, passed away at her home Saturday January 16th. Death resulted from an attack of pneumonia. Mrs. Rasmussen Ras-mussen was born in Denmark December Decem-ber 23, 1834. She was eighty years of age, She leaves besides three children, chil-dren, a number of relatives the husband hus-band having preceded her to the ; grave. Funeral services were held in i |
