Show FOUNTAIN GREEN Afton Allred entertained the Club ; girls at her home Monday evening. i Mayor J. L. Neilson and John J. I Oldroyd were Salt Lake City visitors during the week. j Maggie Frandsen was pleasantly surprised Monday evening by a number num-ber of her friends. The occasion being be-ing her birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Holman are vis-' iting with their daughter, LaVern, at Pleasant Grove. They will also visit relatives at Bear River. Mr. and Mrs. James Mikkelsen were surprised by a large number of their friends last Wednesday evening. The time was spent in games and a splendid luncheon was served. Myrtle Reese entertained the members mem-bers of the Fay King Club at a dinner Wednesday night at her home in Wales.' The girls also enjoyed a sleigh ride and dance. The Home Economics Association held their regular meeting last Friday Fri-day afternoon at the City Hall. The old officers were released and others elected. The present officers are, Pres. Cora H. Madsen, J.st Vice-Pres. Lydia Guymon, 2nd Vice-Pres. Stella Christiansen, Sec. Bertha Jorgenseu, Treas. Geneva Oldroyd. Arrangements Arrange-ments were made for a sleighing party par-ty Monday. Coasting has been the great sport here this week. Parties of from 2 0 to 100 have been out every day the past week.' Tuesday afternoon ninety nine-ty of the pupils of the Mount Pleasant Pleas-ant Public Schools came up and coasted. Wednesday the Birch Creek School all went up and in the afternoon after-noon the Fairview 7th and 8th grades were all out. They coast on schooner sleds for from one to two miles, both old and young enjoy the sport. |
