Show Reported By N. S. H. S. Student Mr. Wangsgaard. Mr. Jensen and Miss Ryan were Salt Lake visitors Friday Oct. 3rd. Mr. Jensen went in the line of archeological study. The grade teachers of the city met with the H. S. faculty Monday Oct. 6th for the purpose of arranging arrang-ing for the county Institute to be held in Mt. Plea&ant Friday Oct. 10. The Juniors held a class meeting Tuesday and elected officers for the coming year. The officers elected are: William Allred, President. Lauretta Lau-retta Lrrsen, Vice-president, Arcilee Barnett, Secretary and Treasurer. A club has been organized by the girls of the school which bears the name' "The Household Art Club." The purpose of this club is to unite the Domestic Science and Domestic Art Girls so that they can work conjointly. con-jointly. The officers of this club are: Myrtle Larsen, President, Sophronia Madsen, Vice President, Addio Anderson, Treasurer, Muriel Simpson. Secretary. The Domestic Science class had a sale of doughnuts Friday Oct. 3rd. It was very successful as all that were made were sold. Special classes class-es in Domestic Science are to be given by Miss Froiseth in the evenings eve-nings for the benefit of the townspeople. Mr. Wangsgaard is now giving a two years course in book-keeping. Mr. Jensen is now arranging for an exhibition of Zoological specimens speci-mens to be given in the near future at the North Sanpete High School. Monday afternoon preceding regular reg-ular faculty meeting Miss Dorothy I Froiseth entertained the teachers of the school at a delightful luncheon. 9 |
