Show SOCIETY.. Mrs. Canute Beal ' of jEphraim is visiting her mother here this week. Harry Ericksen left Saturday for San Francisco. Leonard Seely and and Rapheal Jensen left a week earlier, ear-lier, all three going with sheep trains. They expect to be absent two or three weeks. Miss Florence Mousen entertained the O. N. O. club at her home Thursday Thurs-day evening. ' An excellent chicken dinner was served and the evening pleasantly spent. Ada Jensen and Venetta Monsen were special guests. Miss Ida Merz was "tendered a pleasant informal surprise at her home Sunday evening. The evening even-ing was delightfully suent in music, songs, games and light refreshments served. Those present were: Obed Nelson, Ida Merz, Vance Mcintosh, Florence Monsen, Stelle Mcintosh, Jay Peacock, Viola Whittsker, Charley Char-ley Peterson, Hilda Madsen, Pearly Johnson, Tressa Larsen, and Frans Neilson. A pleasant skating party was given giv-en at the Atmorj Tuesday afternonn by Daniel Rasmussen. The party consisted of Mr. Rasmussen's relatives rela-tives and was given in honor of his birthday. After the skating party the crowd assembled at the home of the host where they gave him a surprise sur-prise dinner parlv and an excellent one too. The event was a splendid one. A Mr Ford of Murray and Everet Cameron of Ohio, two friends of Maple Lundberg spent afew daysin this city. Mr. and Mrs Lundberg entertained at their home Thursday evening at a dainty luncheon for these friends. Miss Anna Anderson and Tressa Larsen were present. Miss Winifred Jensen was hostess 'at a pleasant evening's entertainment entertain-ment Monday evening. The party first attended the Melba theatre after af-ter which they went to the home of Miss Jensen where a delightful lunch eon was enjoyed. Music, games, etc. were indulged in and a jolly time reported. The guests were Viola Whittaker, Pearly Johnson, Carrie Dorius, Burke McArthur. Mr. and Mrs. Wood Brandon were host and hostess at an afternoon social Thursday evening. The affair was in honor of Mrs, Carrie Dorius. Cards and delicious refreshments were the order of the evening's entertainment en-tertainment and a splendid time was enjoyed by the following guests: Mrs. Carrie Dorius, Mr. and Mrs. P. M. McArthur, Mr. and Mrs. Olof Rosenlof, Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Hansen, Han-sen, Mr. and Mrs. Parlen Carter, Mrs. Margaret Brandon. Nellie McArthur entertained at a Kensington at her home Wed. afternoon after-noon in honor of here sister Mrs. Seymoure Dorius of Salt Lake City, who has spent the past month here. Delicious refreshments were served, and an all round pleasant afternoon enjoyed. Those present were Host ess guest of Honor, Tressa Larson, Christie Neilson, Frances Jensen, Winnifred Jensen, Viola Whittaker, Mrs. Jacobs, Mrs. Denhalter, Leah Ballard, Mrs J. W. Anderson The Misses Jensens furnished some excellent ex-cellent musicial numbers during the afternoon. |
